Chers et chères Collègues,

We are pleased to announce the first webinar in the series devoted to the ICMI AMOR project. The announcement is attached.

The webinar will take place on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, and will be offered at two times to accommodate participants across time zones: 8AM UTC and 6PM UTC. Please use this link to consult your local time zone accordingly.

To register, please complete the questionnaire indicating your name, email address, and preferred session. Registered participants will receive the Zoom link approximately two hours prior to the webinar.

The International Commission of Mathematical Instruction Awardee Multimedia Online Resources project (ICMI AMOR) aims at building online resources reflecting highly significant and influential research in mathematics education at an international level, that could serve as a reference not only for researchers in the field, but also for educators, teachers, curriculum developers and policy makers and other agents in the field.

This first webinar is designed both for those who are not yet familiar with the project and wish to gain an overview of its content and potential uses, and for current users who would like to share their experiences with a broader audience.

The program will include an introduction by Jean‑Luc Dorier, followed by short presentations by Michèle Artigue and Anna Sfard on their respective contribution to the ICMI AMOR project, as well as a presentation by Marianna Bosch on the unit she developed on Yves Chevallard’s work. Examples of the AMOR resources’ applications in various teaching contexts will be presented by Nadav Ehrenfeld, Sébastien Jolivet and Xingfeng Huang.

Participants are encouraged to visit the ICMI AMOR website  or/and our YouTube channel prior to the webinar.

On behalf of the ICMI AMOR Advisory Board,

Jean-Luc Dorier
