At the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, a permanent position as Associate Professor of Mathematics Education (Didactics of Mathematics) is announced. The successful candidate will mainly teach and supervise at master and PhD level in Mathematics Education (Didactics of Mathematics) but will also have the possibility to participate in the teaching of regular mathematics courses within a wide range of study programmes. The position is part of a strengthening of the Department’s research activity in Mathematics Education (Didactics of Mathematics). Of particular interest is research associated with learning and teaching of mathematics at university level. Good qualifications are required in both mathematics and mathematics education (see the announcement for further details).
