Dear all,
In order to make the project ICMI AMOR https://www.mathunion.org/icmi/projects/icmi-amor better known and more used, the ICMI AMOR Advisory Board has decided to launch a series of webinars.
The Second Webinar will be on Wednesday October 28, 2026 and it is devoted to:
- Ubiratan D’Ambrosio unit (Felix Klein Award 2005) made by Milton Rosa and Daniel Clark Orey https://www.mathunion.org/icmi/awards/amor/ubiratan-dambrosio-unit and
- Terezinha Nunes unit (Hans Freudenthal Award 2017) made by herself https://www.mathunion.org/icmi/terezinha-nunes-unit
with presentations of the authors of the units and also some testimonies of people who used these units in different contexts.
There will be a first session at 10AM UTC in English and second session at 4PM UTC in Portuguese. [C’est-à-dire 11h et 17h heure de Paris, respectivement.]
