Chères et chers collègues,
Vous trouverez ci-dessous une invitation à proposer une communication pour la prochaine conférence CERME dans le groupe 25 : Teaching and Learning Calculus.
—
Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to submit a paper or poster proposal to Thematic Working Group 25 – Teaching and Learning Calculus at CERME15, which will take place in Bratislava, Slovakia, on 8–12 February 2027.
Building on the rich discussions developed within TWG25 at CERME14, we hope to bring together researchers interested in the teaching and learning of calculus across educational levels, from early preparation for calculus to university mathematics and service courses.
The scope of TWG25 is intentionally broad. We particularly welcome contributions addressing conceptual understanding and formalization; functions, covariation, rates of change and accumulation; limits, continuity, derivatives and integrals; multivariable calculus; visualization and embodied reasoning; argumentation, proof and rigor; interdisciplinary and extra-mathematical contexts; teacher knowledge and teacher education; institutional and curricular issues; inclusive methodologies to teach calculus at the secondary and undergraduate level; technology, computational thinking and AI; as well as theoretical and methodological developments in calculus education research.
We warmly encourage both colleagues who have previously contributed to the TWG and researchers who are new to the group to join us and contribute to the collaborative work that characterizes CERME.
The deadline for paper and poster submissions is 15 September 2026.
